Emiel van den Brink

About Me

My name is Emiel van den Brink (Though you might know me by Braggs); a motivated developer who's main interest lies in back-end programming, though I enjoy front-end as well. I'm always up for an opportunity to experiment and learn something new. I'm not one to turn down a challenge!

What I do

Programming

Currently, I mostly write in C#, but I'm also a big fan of Java, which I use for several of my own projects.

I've also spent a bit of time writing Bash scripts, and have dabbled with Python, Javascript and C/C++ before.

Art

I enjoy putting my creativity to use and outing it on a canvas. I've drawn for a big part of my life and I continue to do so to this day.

Nowadays, I mostly work digitally in Photoshop, though I know my way around Illustrator and other Adobe programs as well.

Hobbies

If I'm not working, programming or drawing, time's usually spent on one of my other hobbies.

Aside from my jogging endeavours, I'm particularly into miniatures and tabletop games; my favourite being Warhammer 40k and D&D.

Portfolio

Here's a collection of things I made! Clicking on the titles will bring you to the github page.

Braggbot

Braggbot is a bot for Discord i made in my spare time, currently still being worked on, albeit in rather slow development.

This website

Made from scratch, with a huge thanks to the internet.

Artwork

yes, I do occasionally like to open up photoshop and make some digital drawings, and I don't shy away from painting a miniature once in a while either

2D maze-level generator

This is a simple recursive backtracker for creating dungeon-esque layouts, with plenty of room for customisation.

Conway's GOL

A rendition of the famous life simulation, Conway's game of life, recreated in unity

Kboard PeakMeter

Project I made in a couple of weeks for fun, PeakMeter is a program which visualises windows audio in/output on Razer Chroma compatible keyboards using Colore and the windows audio API
